HOW TO PLAY

Find the mystery country in as few guesses as possible. You begin with no clues. Every wrong guess gives you geographic signals about the target.

DISTANCEApproximate distance from your guess to the target. The single pixel bar fills from left to right as you get closer.
DIRECTIONPoints from your guessed country toward the target: N, NE, E, SE, S, SW, W, or NW.
POP. ↑Shows your guessed country’s population, then ↑ if the target has more people or ↓ if it has fewer.
AREA ↑Shows your guessed country’s area, then ↑ if the target is larger or ↓ if it is smaller.

Population figures are a fixed gameplay dataset, not live estimates. Distances are approximate and designed for deduction.

STATISTICS: Every PinPointr you solve counts toward your statistics, including puzzles completed later through the Archive. The Archive calendar still marks same-day completions in green and later Archive completions in gold.
